Cardenal Mendoza and champagne cocktail

With a dash of brandy and lemon peel, this brandy and champagne cocktail has feminine written all over it . Surprise your friends tonight with this delicious cocktail!

Ingredients:

  • 6 small brown sugar cubes
  • angostura bitters
  • 120 ml brandy Cardenal Mendoza
  • 1 lemon , optional
  • 750 ml Champagne 

Elaboration:

Pop a sugar cube into an old-fashioned Champagne glass. Add a few drops of angostura bitters to each cube, then top with a splash of Cardenal Mendoza brandy. If you like, use a zester or speed peeler to peel thin strips of lemon peel and add a couple to the glass. Top them up with Champagne and enjoy.
