How to win?
Starting August 15th a worldwide 3 month photo competition will begin in search for the winner of this exclusive prize. Entrants need to take a photograph which illustrates their interpretation of the “Arte De Vivir” – meaning “the art of living well” or “the finer things in life”.
The winner will be chosen during the first week of December by a combination of public votes, and a jury’s assessment of photographic creativity.
The winner of the golden snifter will also travel to Jerez with a friend in early 2017 to be presented with the gold cup "Copa Mendoza" in the Bodegas of Cardenal Mendoza.
The photo must be posted via the new website CardenalMendoza.com or through Social Media using the hashtag #copamendoza.
The competition prizes: worth over 17,000 euros in total!
The golden cup, Copa Mendoza, is made by a local artisan in Jerez de la Frontera. It is fashioned from 22-carat gold, weighs 250g and measures 110mm x 80mm. (Aprox. measures)
In addition to the main prize of the gold goblet, three further awards will be presented - to the photo which wins most votes in September, October and November.
In each of these months, one person will win a bottle of a very rare, limited edition brandy Non Plus Ultra, a 50 year old Cardenal Mendoza with only 800 bottles produced per year from 38 casks. Each bottle is valued at 500 euros a bottle.

The final week of the competition coincides with the rst-ever Cardenal Mendoza Golden Week, a one-week event held in various cities around the world with dedicated tastings, masterclasses, seminars, pairing events and cocktail sessions.
